GDWF endeavours to provide scientific training, support and Mentor the underprivileged and PARA Sportspersons in order to transform their lives. We envisage to provide a strong support system and build character so that they learn to address difficulties, overcome hardships and face challenges. Our aim is to ensure accessibility and create a platform for their catalyst growth by empowering them so that they are capable of achieving their goals and fulfilling their dreams. They will be groomed to fulfil their aspirations. We have formulated a long-term policy and plan to nature them by using Sports as a tool for their holistic and overall development.
Initiatives and the necessary steps have already been taken so as to make a visible and significant contribution in their lives by channelising their efforts and energies in the right direction. We have embarked upon an ambitious vision and devised a unique concept to professionally identify, groom and nourish absolute raw talent and hidden potential at the grassroots levels. Besides, one of the key objectives and priorities of the Foundation will also be to target Boys and Girls between 5 and 10 years of age and offer them FREE coaching and provide them Bats and balls free of cost during the course of the entire training program. Further, they will also be Mentored, motivated and encouraged to take up the Sport competitively. As a first step in the right direction, we are successful to bring on board “REACT NOW FOUNDATION” who have been extremely kind, considerate and benevolent to announce a lavish Scholarship Scheme which is the first of its kind in India (copy attached). Efforts are being made to seek the patronage of other similar NGOs, like minded Charitable Foundations and Corporate bodies to collaborate with us.
It will remain our endeavour to organize State, National and International Events for the PARA Players, Deaf & Dumb and the Special children. On the topmost of our Agenda, (an Event which is very special and really close to our hearts) and which will be conducted for the first time ever; is the 1 st PARA Table Tennis Maharashtra State Championships. It is proposed to organize this prestigious. Event in a grand and befitting manner under the auspices of MSTTA very shortly. GDWF is committed to imparting professional Coaching in Table Tennis to the underprivileged and PARA Sportspersons, empowering them to excel and reach the pinnacles of success. We have full faith not only in our own capabilities but also in our disciples, who are bound to earn glory not only for themselves, our Institution but also for our country in the near future. We are confident that history will be created when 1 of our trainees secures a podium finish at the International Event.
Donations are entitled for exemption under Section 80G and Section 12AA of the Income tax Act, 1961. The profits (if any) will be utilised solely for the promotion, improvement and overall development of the underprivileged. Transparency is assured in the utilisation of funds by showcasing the impact of your contribution in our Annual Reports and returns. It is earnestly pleaded that our humble appeal to carry out ‘GooD Deeds’ as envisaged may kindly be considered favourably please.
